HOW IT ALL WORKS

1. Meet and Greet Consultation

Before your dog starts their adventure, we want to ensure we’re the perfect match! We’ll visit your home to chat about your dog’s history, your goals, and any questions you have.

We will walk you through our process, health and safety procedures, and take your pup for a quick stroll around the block. This helps us assess their strengths, weaknesses, and any specific training needs. We’ll also use this time to align our schedules and availability.

2. Pre-Pack Training

Once the "meet and greet" is complete, we’ll book your dog for one-on-one training sessions with me. These sessions focus on the vital skills needed for a safe and successful pack integration, including:

  • Bond & Confidence Building: Creating a strong relationship with the handler.

  • Vehicle Conditioning: Ensuring they are calm and comfortable during transport.

  • Essential Skills: Perfecting leash manners, recall, impulse control, and appropriate socialization.

Note: The number of sessions required depends entirely on your dog’s individual needs and progression speed.

3. Pack Integration & First Walks

When your dog is ready, it’s time to join the pack! We’ll pick them up for their first group adventure and manage the transition carefully.

Your dog is introduced to the environment gradually—starting on a standard lead, progressing to a longline, and eventually moving to off-lead once they are confident and reliable. Every dog progresses at their own pace, and we prioritize their comfort and safety above all else.

4. Logistics: Pickup and Drop-off

  • Pickups: Between 7:30 am and 9:30 am. Please have your dog ready by 7:30 am. If you aren't home, just let us know your preferred access method (key, gate code, etc.).

  • Drop-offs: Usually between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm.

To ensure no dog spends an excessive amount of time in the van, we generally follow a "first in, first out" policy—the first dog picked up is usually the first one home.
